CMI proposes
itself as a partner for the process of planning, implementation and control of
the flow and raw materials, semi-finished and finished products, as well as for
the management of related information from the point of origin to the point of
consumption, with the purpose of meeting the needs of customers.
The range of
services offered by CMI in the field of goods handling and porterage includes
the whole range of logistics activities such as customer service, demand
forecasting, communication management, inventory management, material handling,
order processing, factories and warehouses, supplies, packaging, returns,
transport, warehousing and storage. The various processes are identified and
monitored both on paper and computer by our Quality Department, and allow our
managers to check the yields in terms of time and quality of the staff employed
in order to be able to continuously improve these aspects and to propose to the
customer new systems or savings solutions on the service. Crucial points of the
service, to obtain success in this field, are for our experience the retention
of the staff and its incentive in order to achieve common objectives.
Within large
production plants, CMI has developed this Modus operandi in the Logistics and
Porterage sector, creating external emergency teams in order to meet the
flexibility needed to cope with the various peaks of work in the various
periods that characterize the world of logistics and industry in general.
